New ebook: Midsummer Law by Megan Derr
Stop by our ebook market to scope our latest ebook, Midsummer Law by Megan Derr. This book is the third in Derr’s Midsummer series, so be sure to check out Midsummer Moon and Midsummer Curse.

Being Sheriff is a hard job, even in a town like Midsummer. The law is the law, and when magic is thrown into the mix, everything gets more complicated. Kirby is lonely and worn out, and his latest unpleasant duty is contacting the brother of a recent suicide. Given the complications surrounding the tragedy, and just how loathed the deceased man was in Midsummer, meeting his brother is not something Kirby is any hurry to do.
But when he arrives, Merry is nothing like his deceased brother—nothing like anything Kirby has seen in a long time, and quite possibly a reason to feel things Kirby thought he’d never feel again.

eeee! the first time I saw Kirby I thought he needed more backstory and someone to be with! not as much conflict as in the others, but def. a good read.
I am going mad with waiting for the Erich/Ingolf reunion… I can’t wait for the next part!
oh god, WHY is Chris in so much denial? it’s causing hurt feelings and misunderstandings all around! I mean, I’m not quite sure about what is happening with the Alex/Chris thing, but he REALLY needs to sort it out.
I can’t wait to buy and read this ebook (alas I need sleep)… but I must say I love all the stories that have been serialized on this site. Keep up the good work. :DD
Chris isn’t exactly in denial. (well, okay, he is but not about *that*)
Besides, he and Joe are guys. You don’t expect them to actually talk, do you? I mean, yeah, this is fiction but we don’t want to be too unrealistic…
I thinking more denial about the whole “Alex is real” thing… it’s not like I expect him to know exactly what is going on, but he should know that something is not quite right and actually THINK about it rather than shove it to the back of his mind and pass it off as coincidence, dreams, whatever.
No, I don’t expect him to be properly sensible about the whole in love with Joe thing, ‘cuz they ARE guys, but he could at least stop and think about the weird “dreams” and “coincidences” that don’t quite fit with reality.
