PayPal is not currently sending out notification emails for failed subscription payments. They are aware of this bug and are working to fix it, but they cannot give an estimate of when notifications will resume. Unfortunately, this means that if your subscription payment to LT3 fails three times, your subscription is then canceled with no email warning.
When a subscription payment made through PayPal fails, they automatically try again after three days. If the second attempt fails, they again try three days later. If the third payment fails, the subscription is canceled.
More unfortunate news: there is no way for us to reset accounts to the previous subscription rate of $2.95. If your subscription is canceled, you will have to subscribe at the new rate of $3.25. Until this bug is fixed on PayPal’s end, we advise you to keep an eye on your subscription to make sure your payments are going through correctly.
Also, a reminder—If you need to set up a new credit card for your subscription, make certain the new credit card is in place before you delete your old card from PayPal. For details on how to switch the card used for your subscription, see the FAQ.
As always, thank you for your patience and for all your support!
