Lainey Durand was born in Missouri and has lived there her entire life. She started writing at a young age, and would often make newsletters and hand-illustrated books for her friends and family. She also wrote songs that were then performed at her elementary school recitals.

In her teens, Lainey refined her skills and began writing poetry, lyrics, and longer works of fiction. She wrote her first novella at the age of 18, and has had poetry published as well as performed by a choir.

Lainey is an avid reader who enjoys almost any type of literature. She has a bit of a soft spot for romances, British humor, and M/M fiction.

As for photography, Lainey rarely leaves home without her camera. She enjoys taking pictures of her pets, her friends, and nature. She has photographed a number of weddings and events, and enjoys editing photos and creating slide-shows and scrapbooks.

Some of Lainey’s favorite things are pomegranates, office supplies, her laptop, her camera, her cats, and the color green.
