Lupin Drake is the eldest of four, living in hot, humid Texas and dreaming of when she can move back to San Francisco. She grew up with a healthy appetite for books, but it was her father who turned her into a life-long geek by introducing computers, Star Trek, and Doctor Who to her when Nickelodeon got boring. Her interest in writing started in middle school with god-awful poems, but really blossomed in her senior year thanks to a creative writing teacher who kept throwing her challenges and an AP English teacher who helped her with her grammar and transitional phrases. When not writing the next greatest novel or working and adding more to her college fund, she can be found on her computer role playing, raiding her local library, or hunting down more Sherlock Holmes spin-offs and movies, seeing as she has already gathered up the entire original canon.
