Sophie Hung was not born in England, New York, or Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin. She did not go to George Washington University, Notre Dame or MacAllister. She is not the author of Catch-22, World War Z or Coraline. She has not won the Caldecott award, the Pulitzer Prize, or any race that she has ever been in. She does not write straight fiction because she thinks that it’s high time homosexuals everywhere get to share the limelight and star in stories that are about something other than the coming out process, because their lives are so, so much more than that. She currently does not live in Manhattan.
