Credit Card processing in the works!

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

LT3 Press is pleased to announce we’re going to be adding credit cards to our payment options in the next few weeks! This process will not interrupt your service or any existing subscriptions set up through PayPal. To offset the costs incurred by this new feature, we will unfortunately be raising our prices slightly. Most ebook prices will raise by $0.50 – $1.00 and subscriptions fees will raise by $0.30 (to $3.25).

Note that if you have a subscription payment set up at the current rate of $2.95, this will not change! The new subscription pricing will affect new subscriptions only.

The new pricing will go into effect on July 21, 2010. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the admin.

New Front Page!

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

Hello all,

As you may have noticed, our front page has changed dramatically! We’re now using a WordPress blog to deliver news about our serial updates, site upgrades, ebooks, and more! This new platform is supported across all browsers (we’ve tested IE, Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome; let us know if you’re using another browser and this page isn’t rendering properly for you). With our new blog, you can:

  • Leave comments! You do not have to have an account with us or log in to leave comments on our blog posts. We do ask that you email us first if you’ve have a problem, as we review customer service emails quicker than we do blog comments
  • Follow us using our new RSS feed! You can follow updates to our blog using our automatically generated RSS feed (http://lessthanthreepress.com/feed).
  • Find prior posts more easily. Our posts are now sorted into categories based on content—to view all entries pertaining to a subject, simply click on the category link below the post.

We’ll be making a number of design modifications and tweaks over the next few months to make our website more user-friendly. If you have any suggestions or feedback along the way, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

Upgrade is complete!

Sunday, January 17th, 2010

Hello all,

The site upgrade is complete and went off without a hitch (other than taking longer than we originally estimated). Like I mentioned in the earlier post, we were able to import our database of users from our old software, so you do not need to recreate your account!

Please note! Your account name and password are now case sensitive, so pay close attention when logging in. We’ve reset your passwords to be the same as your user name, so make sure you change that immediately! If you aren’t sure whether your account name was capitalized, check the email we sent out a few minutes ago. That will include your account name and password with the capitalization you’ll need to log into the web site.

If you did not receive the upgrade email, you can request it be sent to you from the website. Click the “Log In” link from the navigation bar, and then enter your email address in the “Lost Password?” box. Your user name and password will be sent to that email account.

If you had special characters in your user name (apostrophes, mostly), these were removed during the import process. We were also required to separate first-and-last names for the import, so if you only had one name entered or if you had an email address for your “name,” you may notice your name has changed in the new system. (You can either update this or leave it alone; these fields aren’t used for anything but LT3 records).

To reset your password, either click the “My Account” link after you log in or go directly here and update your password from there.

Please note we’re currently reviewing and updating our FAQ page and the Payment information web page; those will be up-to-date later this evening. We wanted to get the news out that you can access the site again out as soon as we could!

If you find any broken links or if you have any issues logging in, please do not hesitate to email us at service@lessthanthreepress.com.

Thank you for your patience, and happy reading!
