I had a problem downloading my book or my book does not open. What do I do?
If your ebook purchase will not download, restart your browser and try the download again. You can download each book you order up to 8 times. If restarting your browser does not work, contact us with your order number, email address, and a detailed description of the problem, including any error messages you received.
How do I download my ebook if I accidentally close my browser window before downloading my purchase?
Go to the Book Market.
In the Login box in the sidebar, sign in to your account.
The My Account box appears in the sidebar. Click the My Account link.
Click the View button next to your order.
Under the second heading, the items you ordered will be displayed; you can download your ebooks up to three times within the seven days after your purchase. Click the Download button or the title of the book you purchased to download it.
If you are past the 7 day download period, contact us and we will reset your downloads.
Can I re-download a previous purchase if my computer suffers catastrophic failure?
You can download each book you purchase up to eight times within 180 days of purchase. After this period of time, contact us with your order number and email address and we will reset your downloads. You can view all previous orders (and order numbers) by logging into your Book Market account.
When does an ebook become available for preorder?
An ebook becomes available for preorder once it reaches the copy editing phase of our editing process. This allows us to guarantee the release date.
Do I get notified when a preorder is available for download?
Yes. Less Than Three Press sends an email notification when preordered ebooks are available for download. This email includes details on how to access your download.
Can I preorder a paperback?
No. Less Than Three Press does not currently offer preorders for paperbacks.
Do I get any deals for preordering?
Yes. Less Than Three Press currently offers a 15% off discount for all preorders.
Do you accept submissions?
Yes! If you are interested in submitting a story, check out the the Submissions page for details.
Do you accept cover art?
We are not currently looking for new cover artists.
How do I get in touch with an author?
You can send comments, critiques, and reviews for all Less Than Three authors to our editorial board at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our editor will then pass them along to the author. Alternately, feel free to leave comments on our news posts; these comments will also be forwarded to our authors.
Can I get a refund?
Less Than Three Press will not refund ebook purchases in the case that you do not like the content of the story. If you cannot download an ebook after you have completed your purchase, contact us. Please include a copy of your invoice, your payment details, and your account information, particularly the email address associated with your account.
Do you ship to international addresses?
Yes, we currently offer international shipping, but only manually. We recommend that international customers purchase paperbacks through Amazon or Barnes & Noble, as they offer less expensive shipping options due to their large volume. If you want to order paperbacks directly from us, please contact us for a quote.
How do you calculate shipping charges?
LT3 calculates shipping based on the number of paperbacks you order.

When will my order be shipped?
Orders are typically shipped within 1-3 business days of the order being placed.
What if I receive books I did not order or damaged books?
Contact us for instructions on how to return the books. Shipping for these returns is paid for by Less Than Three Press.
In the case of the incorrect order being shipped to you, we will send the correct books to you once we have received your return.
In the case of damaged books, we will ship new, undamaged books to you once we have received your return.
If you would like a refund for the incorrect order or the damaged books, the refund will be processed once we have received your return.
Important! If the reason for your return is not the result of an error on the part of Less Than Three Press or damage during shipping, you are responsible for shipping for the item you are returning.
Can I cancel an order?
Orders can only be cancelled prior to the books being shipped. To cancel an order, contact us. If your order has not been shipped, we will process a refund.
If your order has been shipped, you will need to return the product in order for us to process your refund. Important! You will be responsible for shipping for returning the item.
What are reward points?
LT3's reward points program is one of many benefits to ordering LT3 titles through the LT3 Book Market. For every $1.00 you spend in the LT3 Book Market, you earn 1 reward point. Each reward point is worth $0.05 off a future order. You can use reward points on ebooks and paperbacks, bundles or preorders, sales and anything you can imagine. If we sell it, you earn reward points from it and can spend your reward points on it!
For example, if you buy an ebook priced at $3.99, you earn 4 reward points, worth $0.20 off a future order. Reward points don’t expire, so you can use them for a small discount on your next order or save them up for a free book in the future.
How do I check my reward points balance?
To view your reward points balance, go to the Book Market. Log in to your account using the "Log In" link in the upper left of the web page. Once you have signed in, click "My Account" in the upper left of the web page. The Account Dashboard will appear; your reward points balance is listed at the bottom of the lefthand column.
How do I redeem my reward points?
Place your order in the Book Market. During Step 2 of 3 - Payment Information, you will see a box titled Reward Points. Click the check box to redeem your current reward point balance against your order; deselect the box to save your reward points for another day.
You can't redeem only part of your reward point balance (i.e., if you have $0.20 in reward points, you can either use it all or none of it). If you redeem your points against an entire order, an LT3 admin needs to approve it on the backend (usually done within a few hours, and you’ll get an email notice), and it takes app. 24 hours after you earn points before you can use them. (If you want them sooner, simply email the admin and we’ll push them through.) If you have more reward points than can be used on a single order, your balance is saved. E.g., if you have $4.50 in reward point money and you use it on an $3.99 book, that extra $0.50 is saved for future use.
How can I redeem a coupon code?
If you receive a coupon code for the Book Market, you can redeem the coupon during Step 2 of 3 - Payment Information in the box titled Coupon Codes. Coupons are redeemed when you click Continue to move to step 3 of the checkout process.
Unless otherwise stated, there is a limit of one coupon per customer. You cannot use the same coupon code on multiple orders. Less Than Three Press reserves the right to lock out accounts for users who create multiple accounts to use coupon codes on multiple orders.
